When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Hasta Alfonso sped through Khachatryan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tigran Balayan. Abel Avetisyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Olov Ahlquist made a huge save. Tigran Balayan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasta Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Hasta Alfonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Grigor Grigoryan from a close distance when the talented Olov Ahlquist managed to make a qualified save. Glentown FC's players were relieved. In the 38th minute of the match, Arin Mndoyants tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olov Ahlquist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Norbert Guthrie made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Glentown FC's Mister Nudel. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Hasta Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glentown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasta Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tigran Balayan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olov Ahlquist made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Grigor Grigoryan sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Arin Mndoyants sped through Glentown FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olov Ahlquist. After the first half Glentown FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hasta Alfonso to strike the kick off in the second half. Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Martirosyan in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasta Alfonso. In the 86th minute, Hasta Alfonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tigran Balayan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Glentown FC made a substitution. Otto Stenqvist replaced Hồ Linda. Brian McKinney hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Anton Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glentown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Axelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Glentown FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
