Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute Milagros Cabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murat Selim Zaik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Águia Tricolor's goalie prevented a goal. César Pena hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Águia Tricolor getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Paulo Renato Brodel hit a great ball. César Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Águia Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murat Selim Zaik. Águia Tricolor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Murat Selim Zaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Guga França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murat Selim Zaik having to make a save. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Murat Selim Zaik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 57th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Águia Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Pena to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the game Paulo Renato Brodel made a throw-in which Erik Pinheiro played forward. Murat Selim Zaik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Águia Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Laguna. In the 73rd minute, César Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Hulk Orange shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Vinhas in the 77th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Águia Tricolor's Murat Selim Zaik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Águia Tricolor's Erik Pinheiro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murat Selim Zaik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. Águia Tricolor's Gabriel Batistuta was substituted for Guga França. In the 86th minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes Águia Tricolor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Murat Selim Zaik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gabriel Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Murat Selim Zaik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
