Spectators: 463 (Terracing: 348, Seating: 106, VIP seats: 9) The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber da Costa got free with Lucas Buffon in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Silvinho Britto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christiano Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Lucas Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diguinho Gaúcho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvinho Britto in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiano Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34thth minute of the game Diguinho Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hermanos CIMZ's Lucas Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cléber da Costa who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SORRISO E. C.'s Arnaud Clément to a score. 1-0 in the 35th minute. If Diguinho Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Los Hermanos CIMZ booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Clément didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Britto was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Britto. Silvinho Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christiano Arce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber da Costa came free, but Lucas Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Britto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christiano Arce came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvinho Britto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in SORRISO E. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! SORRISO E. C.:s Christiano Arce showed great skill when he stopped Hílton Moura:s penalty. 74 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Britto came free, but Christiano Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lucas Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Hermanos CIMZ made a substitution. Jeferson Arantes replaced Lucas Makélélé. Lucas Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Lucas Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber da Costa in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Diguinho Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither SORRISO E. C. or Los Hermanos CIMZ succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. SORRISO E. C.'s Diguinho Gaúcho started the play with the initial kick off. After 102nd play minutes Diguinho Gaúcho shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Lucas Buffon and just under the crossbar into goal. Los Hermanos CIMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
