Spectators: 559 (Terracing: 420, Seating: 129, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Bañuelos started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's goalkeeper Guido Luar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Bañuelos. In the 7th minute, Zenon Señor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes, Los Gallos's Danilo Ireno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Katia Villalobos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Gallos reached it. Katia Villalobos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Primitivo Chago went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bañuelos in the 17th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Guido Luar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Nacional's Emanuel Bañuelos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guido Luar. Guido Luar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 28th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Cadimo to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Bañuelos in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guido Luar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eulalio Bilintx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Vizcaino. Valentin Neron, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 39th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mendebal Larrechi to maneuver through the defense. Guido Luar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Los Gallos's Ramon Corderun was substituted for Danilo Ireno. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eulalio Bilintx to strike the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Bilintx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Katia Villalobos made a huge save. Saturnino Vizcaino lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Nacional:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Katia Villalobos had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Eulalio Bilintx's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Gallos's Primitivo Chago got a free kick in the 65th minute. Katia Villalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Bilintx in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Bilintx in the 69th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Katia Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, Fernando Osoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Katia Villalobos came out of the goal and Fernando Osoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Nacional's Katia Villalobos got control of the ball when Eulalio Bilintx tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mero Tenorio during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mero Tenorio to maneuver through the defense. Katia Villalobos was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Primitivo Chago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Primitivo Chago really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Eulalio Bilintx hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Salvador Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Katia Villalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Katia Villalobos made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Primitivo Chago sent off a good shot on target. Katia Villalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Bilintx in the 101st minute.

106 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's goal looked a bit too open when Mero Tenorio came free, but Guido Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mauricio Panero came up free with the goalie in the 114th minute, the Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Panero couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Corderun during the 117th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nacional's Ximun Amesquita was substituted for Mauricio Panero. After 119 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Corderun.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Eulalio Bilintx did a quick kick off. Teodosio Montxo hit a great freekick 124 minutes into the match. Katia Villalobos made a fantastic save in the 130th minute, when Eulalio Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. After 134 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Neron.

Guido Luar had in the 140thth minute some difficulties stopping Eulalio Bilintx's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee gave Nacional a penalty, 141 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Bañuelos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Gallos's Guido Luar. 3-2. Guido Luar had in the 146thth minute some difficulties stopping Primitivo Chago's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Guido Luar had in the 148thth minute some difficulties stopping Ramon Corderun's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Guido Luar had in the 150thth minute some difficulties stopping Roque Molla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nacional:s Guido Luar showed great skill when he stopped Valentin Neron:s penalty. The audience cheered when Valentin Neron's long shot passed Katia Villalobos's right side. It was 4-4, 152 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nacional fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Gallos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
