Izaak Lopez de Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martins Palermo in the 27th minute of the match. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Turdeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Isias came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izaak Lopez de Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martins Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Colombo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Martínez. Emiliano Martínez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Colombo in the 47th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Izaak Lopez de Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martins Palermo in the 52nd minute of the match. If Martins Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Colombo in the 58th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izaak Lopez de Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martins Palermo in the 61st minute of play. With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Kamiel Stessel in Fecha Libre was the one to initiate the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamiel Stessel in the 101st minute of play forced ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s goalkeeper Izaak Lopez de Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Eneto in the 105th minute of play. Samuel Isias's late challenge caught a Fecha Libre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Isias helped the player get up and apologised. Izaak Lopez de Toro made a fantastic save in the 114th minute, when Igli Tare sent off a good shot on target. In the 115th minute, Igli Tare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Fecha Libre players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Arnoldo Eneto took the kick off. Izaak Lopez de Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igli Tare in the 120th minute of play. 121 minutes into the game, Gilbert Darwis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fecha Libre's Rodolfo Manni quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 123 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's Kamiel Stessel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izaak Lopez de Toro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 130th minute Igli Tare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izaak Lopez de Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Eneto might have been able to make a better finish in the 132nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Martínez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Eneto ran back to his position shaking his head. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Eneto, who was totally free with the ball in the 132nd minute. Arnoldo Eneto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 134th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Martínez having to make a save. After 30 minutes of extra-time there was still no winner. The players now faced the much dreaded penalty shoot-out.

Kamiel Stessel's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Izaak Lopez de Toro - 2-2 was put on the score board in the 137th minute. Fecha Libre:s Izaak Lopez de Toro showed great skill when he stopped Nichifor Turdeanu:s penalty. The referee gave Fecha Libre a penalty, 142 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodolfo Manni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Izaak Lopez de Toro. 4-3. In the 145th minute there was a penalty for Fecha Libre. Gavino Hodei stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Izaak Lopez de Toro. 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fecha Libre.
