Manole Tăcutu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akakios Ntolkas in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Stegaru. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ana Ţugui in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantinos Konstas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting a goal against them. If Ana Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Konstas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Pop in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Alex Pop got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Stoleru in the 19th minute of play forced BPS F.C.'s goalkeeper Konstantinos Konstas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Ana Ţugui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in BPS F.C.'s zone, Ana Ţugui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinos Konstas came out of the goal and Ana Ţugui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, BPS F.C.'s Miltiadis Liakos got a free kick in the 26th minute. Telis Papathanasiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstantinos Konstas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Stoleru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ana Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Konstas having to interfere. Alex Pop blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantinos Konstas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Pop in the 38th minute of play forced BPS F.C.'s goalkeeper Konstantinos Konstas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Cândroveanu. Manole Tăcutu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akakios Ntolkas's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Ana Ţugui notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BPS F.C.'s Konstantinos Konstas. Konstantinos Konstas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giannis Avramidis to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Alekos Kourouklis came free, but Manole Tăcutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of BPS F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of -BZF- Valea Buzăului:s goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantinos Konstas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Konstantinos Konstas was a little too slow when Alex Pop got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-3. After 82 minutes, Alex Pop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Valea Buzăului and the BPS F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Alex Pop. 1-3 became the score in the 92nd minute when Giannis Avramidis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Akakios Ntolkas came free, but Manole Tăcutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BPS F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching -BZF- Valea Buzăului's performance. The match ended with a win for -BZF- Valea Buzăului.
