Demesio Tarapiella helped the player get up and apologised. Hernan Neriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Palmquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Lövgren came free, but Hernan Neriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Åke Palmquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Neriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valiente Marino in the 25th minute of play. Hernan Neriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Palmquist in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes Borussia Dortmund's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Qvarnström who took care of the corner kick. In the 31st match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flor Orbaneja to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Åke Palmquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Neriz. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Palmquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Tafoya to make the kick off. Rasmus Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, Hummerfiskarna's Bernt Ersman made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Neriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Borussia Dortmund fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hummerfiskarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
