Manole Tăcutu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Palmquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Ţugui in the 20th minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Gottfrid Kullander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Åke Palmquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gottfrid Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Ţugui in the 24th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Eric Lövgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hummerfiskarna and the -BZF- Valea Buzăului players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eric Lövgren kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Hummerfiskarna booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Jumancă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Ersmans short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Manole Tăcutu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Åke Palmquist scored to the left of an out of position Manole Tăcutu, making the score, 1-2. Eric Lövgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Manole Tăcutu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manole Tăcutu made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Bernt Ersman sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Hummerfiskarna's Bernt Ersman in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalie prevented a goal. Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Pop in the 55th minute of play. Erik Qvarnström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gottfrid Kullander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Pop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Hummerfiskarna from getting a goal against them. After having played for 70 minutes, Bernt Ersman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hummerfiskarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Ersman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Palmquist came free, but Manole Tăcutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Bernt Lövgren put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Hummerfiskarna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of -BZF- Valea Buzăului:s goal. Hummerfiskarna:s Gottfrid Kullander showed great skill when he stopped Ana Ţugui:s penalty. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Emilian Ţurlău put in a rough tackle. In the 77th minute, one of -BZF- Valea Buzăului:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for -BZF- Valea Buzăului. -BZF- Valea Buzăului:s Manole Tăcutu showed great skill when he stopped Åke Palmquist:s penalty. The excitement rose when Hummerfiskarna's Åke Palmquist after 80 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-3. In the 83rd match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Baran to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to -BZF- Valea Buzăului getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alex Pop hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Åke Palmquist came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Hummerfiskarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Palmquist couldn't finish the play. In the 90th match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Palmquist came free, but Manole Tăcutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute Åke Palmquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the -BZF- Valea Buzăului defense, Åke Palmquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manole Tăcutu. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manole Tăcutu should have stopped the shot. Hummerfiskarna were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
