In the 27th minute of the match Fotis Papadias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantinos Konstas skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, BPS F.C.'s Miltiadis Liakos got a free kick in the 29th minute. Konstantinos Konstas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miltiadis Alexopoulos. Michalis Chatzoudis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vlassis Mintiouris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konstantinos Konstas. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. After a rather tough play, BPS F.C.'s Telis Papathanasiou got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giannis Avramidis to make the kick off. BPS F.C.'s Konstantinos Konstas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Daskalakis in the 54th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Giannis Avramidis fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Nikos Leontoulis. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and BPS F.C.'s manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. In the 65th minute, BPS F.C.'s Alekos Kourouklis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akakios Ntolkas in the 79th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Nikos Leontoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spyros Daskalakis scored 2-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantinos Konstas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when BPS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telis Papathanasiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
