Christos Vidalis's late challenge caught a Drafi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christos Vidalis helped the player get up and apologised. Giorgos Sokolatopoulos hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Babbis Petroutsos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michalis Chatzoudis. After a rather tough play, BPS F.C.'s Akakios Ntolkas got a free kick in the 8th minute. Akakios Ntolkas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Petroutsos having to interfere. BPS F.C. were furious when Michalis Chatzoudis was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakis Korakis in the 16th minute of play forced BPS F.C.'s goalkeeper Konstantinos Konstas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Drafi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Panagiotis Mitsibonas hit a great ball. Babbis Petroutsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alekos Kourouklis in the 27th minute of the match. Konstantinos Konstas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ntinos Ioannidis in the 28th minute of the match. Sakis Korakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Panagiotis Mitsibonas took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantinos Konstas. Konstantinos Konstas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 35th minute, Alekos Kourouklis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babbis Petroutsos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Panagiotis Mitsibonas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Konstas having to interfere. Panagiotis Mitsibonas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tasos Kavvadias made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, BPS F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ntinos Ioannidis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 51 minutes of play, Drafi's Tasos Kavvadias made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstantinos Konstas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute Sakis Korakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantinos Konstas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Drafi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasos Kavvadias to maneuver through the defense. BPS F.C.'s Giannis Avramidis got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Evaggelos Gikas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Konstantinos Konstas. Evaggelos Gikas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 93rd minute, Alekos Kourouklis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Drafi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
