An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Strungă in the 2nd minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Nikos Leontoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Flávio Ţugui made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Leontoulis. Kolopetinitsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Alex Pop got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nikos Leontoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Bădulescu in the 15th minute of the match. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 37 minutes into the game, Miltiadis Alexopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolopetinitsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Valea Buzăului the free kick. In the 40th minute, Flávio Ţugui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Leontoulis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Kolopetinitsa's Fokas Labropoulos got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Flávio Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Leontoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flávio Ţugui was the one to do the kick off. Nikos Leontoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Fokas Labropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Nikos Leontoulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudiu Bădulescu. Kolopetinitsa's Nikos Leontoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Ţugui in the 70th minute of play. Nikos Leontoulis was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Iulian Strungă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iulian Strungă really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Nikos Leontoulis came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Leontin Stegaru. But to his dismay, Leontin Stegaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 80th minute, Iulian Strungă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikos Leontoulis. The goal made the score 0-7. Spyros Daskalakis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Sabin Cândroveanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nikos Leontoulis. Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Ţugui to maneuver through the defense. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Daskalakis in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Iulian Strungă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Leontoulis. Kolopetinitsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Strungă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 90 minutes into the match, Flávio Ţugui notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Kolopetinitsa's Nikos Leontoulis. Nikos Leontoulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tilemachos Karagiotas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Strungă came free, but Nikos Leontoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kolopetinitsa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. -BZF- Valea Buzăului were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
