KP Chemik Police's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wlodzimierz Bubczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KP Chemik Police's zone, Benito Sabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Dylla came out of the goal and Benito Sabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sabinos short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Edmund Dylla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Sabino got free with Edmund Dylla in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Sabino in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Dylla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in KP Chemik Police's zone, Generoso Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Dylla came out of the goal and Generoso Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Irrompibles's Hipolito Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, KP Chemik Police's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hipolito Olayo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zula Cisek kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Igor Psotka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edmund Dylla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of KP Chemik Police booed when Los Irrompibles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KP Chemik Police's Waclaw Jaszyna got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Bubczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korneliusz Pryputnicki to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Los Irrompibles's Benito Sabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Dylla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Los Irrompibles's Justino Matxin pulled a muscle in his leg after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Waclaw Jaszyna fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KP Chemik Police's protests and gave Waclaw Jaszyna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Waclaw Jaszyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Dylla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Dylla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Waclaw Jaszyna hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Los Irrompibles's Hipolito Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korneliusz Pryputnicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Justino Inko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbigniew Jandryca hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
