In the 29th minute of the match, Ana Ţugui got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hamílton Rezende was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of October 04 booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Strungă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manole Tăcutu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. October 04 were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Munhoz made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Albuquerque in the 52nd minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Manole Tăcutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Geraldo Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Strungă in the 60th minute of play. Hamílton Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ana Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 76 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Manole Tăcutu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Munhoz.
