Kranji Crunchy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Irrompibles the free kick. Eros Tobing hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Benito Sabino sped through Kranji Crunchy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anwar Antoni. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Armand Hadikusuma put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Justino Inko. When Hipolito Olayo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Irrompibles's protests and gave Hipolito Olayo a yellow card for diving instead. Justino Inko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Hadikusuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th match minute, Los Irrompibles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Matxin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
