In the 5th minute Bolli Bolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Zhan Sang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Fernando Grover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Hummerfiskarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yakup Sargut took the corner. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Clavijo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Grover stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yao Zhan Sang came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hummerfiskarna's Arnaldo Queirós. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Yao Zhan Sang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolli Bolla in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute Arnaldo Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Zhan Sang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Tomas Levander fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hummerfiskarna's Rickard Malmström was substituted for Karl-Michael Bergfelt. If Bolli Bolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Lagerberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Yao Zhan Sang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 played minutes, Borussia Dortmund's Yakup Sargut shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Holger Mattsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borussia Dortmund reached it. There was no doubt that Hummerfiskarna were the better team. Hummerfiskarna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
