Shi Li received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Astudillo came out and tried to block the shot, but Shi Li slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ianis Man in the 12th minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Quilo Lujarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shi Li's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Astudillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ianis Man in the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, San Lorenzo 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo 11's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Shi Li scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Astudillo, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 33rd minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Li got free with Aurelio Astudillo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Shi Li dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Astudillo, 3-0. Shi Li showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Li made a kick off. A collision led to San Lorenzo 11 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gerardo Rainerio hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Shi Li made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Astudillo. San Lorenzo 11's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Shi Li's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Astudillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Shi Li cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Aurelio Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelio Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Li in the 68th minute of play. Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Bucciarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quilo Lujarra in the 72nd minute of the match. Aurelio Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Li in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Li in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Astudillo saved San Lorenzo 11 from getting behind. Aurelio Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ianis Man, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Shi Li hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Lorenzo 11's Santiago Sidro was substituted for Claudio Bucciarelli. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boğaç Altuncuoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. San Lorenzo 11's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
