Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Botafogo AP's Fritz Ernst Joinvilense started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaime de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Sidney Souza fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Korban's protests and gave Sidney Souza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Souza to maneuver through the defense. Jaime de Castro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani da Rocha having to interfere. José Pedro Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber da Silveira in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AC Korban's Durval Garcia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes, Botafogo AP's Ademir de Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernani da Rocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Botafogo AP reached it. Hernani da Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fritz Ernst Joinvilense in the 32nd minute. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani da Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Jaime de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Korban's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Fritz Ernst Joinvilense notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AC Korban's Hernani da Rocha. Hernani da Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 played minutes AC Korban got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Falcão. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Igor Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Botafogo AP's José Pedro Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Neto in the 53rd minute of play. AC Korban's Bruno Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Falcão got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 61 played minutes AC Korban got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Falcão. AC Korban's Hernani da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Ernst Joinvilense in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime de Castro got free with José Pedro Bertassi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaldo Kellogg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani da Rocha having to make a save. Hernani da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Ernst Joinvilense in the 78th minute of play. Zé Carlos Furlan hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Botafogo AP booed when AC Korban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Carlos Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani da Rocha having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Igor Neto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Botafogo AP's José Pedro Bertassi. José Pedro Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AC Korban were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
