Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Orling in the 11th minute of play. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Tomporowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Vorwärts Lübeck getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Brix Wenauer hit a great ball. David Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. David Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Becker's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Vorwärts Lübeck's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marek Tomporowski in the 37th minute. Vorwärts Lübeck's Mihail Ciuvică was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Abad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Günther Doty came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Günther Doty couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Günther Doty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günther Doty in the 50th minute of play. Abubakar Noach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günther Doty in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Marek Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chinese CJ Youth Academy's zone, Mihail Ciuvică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Abad came out of the goal and Mihail Ciuvică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abubakar Noach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günther Doty took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abubakar Noach. Abubakar Noach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 70th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abubakar Noach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner. Wincent Jaroch went to the cornerflag to take it. Abubakar Noach stood somewhat misplaced when Günther Doty came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 72 minute. Vorwärts Lübeck made a substitution. Jean-Baptiste Lasogga replaced Severino Casero. Günther Doty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Orling came free, but Abubakar Noach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Vorwärts Lübeck's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wincent Jaroch took the corner. 88 minutes into the match, Marek Tomporowski notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad. David Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abubakar Noach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Günther Doty in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abubakar Noach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vorwärts Lübeck's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
