When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tom Hermansson sped through DirectorVisual.com's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro Iruinea. Niclas Füllkrug might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Iruinea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niclas Füllkrug ran back to his position shaking his head. Matías Kranevitter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After the first half AZURDUY F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Luque in the 69th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, one of DirectorVisual.com:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DirectorVisual.com. After 83 played minutes, DirectorVisual.com's Oscar Ruggeri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DirectorVisual.com reached it. DirectorVisual.com's Federico Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tom Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, DirectorVisual.com's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Mauro Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
