Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 17th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Amboy FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Despidida AFC. Gabriel Silban stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ariel Mourelatos. 1-2. In the 37th minute, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Alvaro Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Jacinto Naelio with Sture Raknes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Raymond to strike the kick off in the second half. Kees Harmsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mario Alberto Abascal hit a great ball. Amboy FC made a substitution. Valerio Spadoni replaced Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. In the 63rd minute, Mario Alberto Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despidida AFC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Amboy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Lucila took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Pastor Tino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 78th minute, Dinu Ivănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valerio Spadoni's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Emiliano Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. Amboy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Ariel Mourelatos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emiliano Velasco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 85 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 88th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Modestio came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dinu Ivănescu hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match Wang Hai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Selatse skillfully saved the ball. If Ruperto Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Amboy FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Despidida AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Despidida AFC.
