After 14 minutes AZURDUY F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adan Aresti who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jairo Hotz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 17 minutes into the game, AZURDUY F.C.'s Niclas Füllkrug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Iigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gabriel-Omar Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Batista came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel-Omar Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Iigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Fred Åkerström hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ★Independiente Ψ★ were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after AZURDUY F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adan Aresti took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 34th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when ★Independiente Ψ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Manuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes in the game Cristian Jaunti did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jairo Hotz. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Niclas Füllkrug fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Niclas Füllkrug a yellow card for diving instead. Maximiliano Iigo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Tom Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Maximiliano Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jay-Jay Okocha hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Tom Hermansson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Maximiliano Iigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Hermansson in the 93rd minute. After 93 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Israel Manuelo. A collision led to ★Independiente Ψ★ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jairo Hotz hit a great ball. Károly Bogdán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Iigo having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the AZURDUY F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ★Independiente Ψ★.
