Alvaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Sansone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Alvaro Raymond took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Sansone. Higinio Sansone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Nina fc booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cain Velasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Romildo in the 27th minute. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nina fc's Higinio Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 38th minute of play. Fernando Selatse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Romildo in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Nina fc got a freekick which was hit by André Jacinto. When Emanuel Lucila fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Despidida AFC's protests and gave Emanuel Lucila a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Lucila kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Stelian Nandriș shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Selatse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Macerio to strike the kick off in the second half. Nina fc's Higinio Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Sansone. Nina fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Nina fc's Higinio Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 66th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Ivănescu. Higinio Sansone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Velasco got free with Higinio Sansone in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Despidida AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nina fc throughout the match.
