Bernardino Gonsalve hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 44th minute of play. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buford Lim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heigo Luiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Misaki in the 55th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amboy FC's Valerio Spadoni was substituted for Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. Baldomiro Silvino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Buford Lim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 95th minute of play.
