With a left leg Higinio Sansone saved Nina fc from getting behind. Higinio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 7th minute of the match. Peep Pronk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peep Pronk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Higinio Sansone made a huge save. Mario Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AC LeX Luthor defense, Fulgencio Romildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Bomba. The AC LeX Luthor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Bomba should have stopped the shot. Higinio Sansone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peep Pronk in the 31st minute. Maurício Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Sansone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Macerio to make the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Saul Macerio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Bomba. Saul Macerio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Sergio Berti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nina fc's Beppe Mercuri was substituted for Stelian Nandriș. Sergio Berti kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Higinio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Savion in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Zeledon Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC LeX Luthor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Savion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Euloxu kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Savion came free, but Higinio Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Silvestre Semeno with Alvaro Errando as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 73rd minute Rodriguinho Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 82nd minute of play. If Alvaro Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Nina fc's Rubens Prata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Bomba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Errando scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Sansone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubens Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Bomba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Sansone. Nina fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodriguinho Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC LeX Luthor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nina fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
