After a rather tough play, DirectorVisual.com's Jorge Gordillo got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Heigo Luiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Misaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jorge Gordillo made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dalmacio Seguinus immediately put the ball in play. Gonzalo Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
