The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Emanuel Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bruce Cornforth hit a great ball. Wang Hai made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. Kajetan Gdowik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes in the game Wang Hai did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. 25 minutes into the game, Alvaro Raymond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ariel Mourelatos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Alvaro Raymond reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. The goal made the score 2-1. Ariel Mourelatos made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Kajetan Gdowik sent off a good shot on target. Kajetan Gdowik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Mourelatos having to make a save. Alvaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Mourelatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Mourelatos having to make a save. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Mourelatos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 69th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amboy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Amboy FC made a substitution. Nicanor Mendiko replaced Black Dragon. In the 88th minute, one of Amboy FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Amboy FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Alberto Abascal got free with Fernando Selatse in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Mourelatos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Tino went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Valerio Spadoni sent off a good shot on target. Despidida AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Amboy FC for a fine match.
