Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Iigo having to make a save. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Iigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo. Teodosio Iigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Alvaro Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Iigo. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Iigo should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Raymond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Iigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 51st minute of the match, Alvaro Raymond tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teodosio Iigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Raymond in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Iigo saved AZURDUY F.C. from getting behind. Teodosio Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Elpidio Laurgain got a free kick in the 62nd minute. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Dinu Ivănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Iigo came out of the goal and Dinu Ivănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Emiliano Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Teodosio Iigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AZURDUY F.C.'s Manuel Valerio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gabriel Silban, made in the 71st minute of the game. Dinu Ivănescu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Teodosio Iigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. In the 82nd minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dinu Ivănescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 84 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Silban. Tom Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Iigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Ivănescu went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over Despidida AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AZURDUY F.C. throughout the match.
