Higinio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nina fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Lucila was slow to take the kick. During this time Despidida AFC's players had a chance to rest. Saul Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Selatse having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Raymond in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Sansone saved Nina fc from getting behind. Nina fc's Higinio Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 31st minute of play. The throw-in from André Jacinto in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Despidida AFC's Kajetan Gdowik. When Kajetan Gdowik came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Gdowik couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Raymond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alvaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Higinio Sansone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The Despidida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Higinio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 84th minute of the match. Higinio Sansone came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu. But to his dismay, Dinu Ivănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Higinio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 88th minute of the match.
