But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Modestio couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Wang Hai in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AZURDUY F.C.'s Fred Åkerström. 27 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 29th minute of play. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 65th minute of the match. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Amboy FC from getting a goal against them. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Iigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 85th minute, Tom Hermansson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ariel Mourelatos, passed just outside the right post. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Alberto Abascal in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match, Niclas Füllkrug tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ariel Mourelatos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. AZURDUY F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Károly Bogdán in the 92nd minute. Manuel Valerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Ariel Mourelatos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Amboy FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
