Faustão Prado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Enéas Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Douglas Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustão Prado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Pereira in the 29th minute. Franklin Baptista's late challenge caught a SORRISO E. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. Franklin Baptista hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Alberto Mendonça tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Faustão Prado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Enéas Soeiro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Enéas Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Mendonça made a kick off. Douglas Viana made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Fiori Souto sent off a good shot on target. Faustão Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Percy Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.'s Betinho Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustão Prado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SORRISO E. C. reached it. Fiori Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Douglas Viana made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Mendonça came free, but Faustão Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdomiro Penha during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
