Glauco Paranaense took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger de Souza. Roger de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Lauro Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Perez in the 19th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger de Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Glauco Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Roger de Souza made a huge save. Lauro Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Melo in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, Natanael Pinheiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Roger de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Natanael Pinheiro hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Richard Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Paranaense in the 60th minute of play. Roger de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Paranaense in the 66th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Eliézer Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 79 minutes into the match, Eliézer Ramos notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza. Roger de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
