Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Velloso came free, but Augusto Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Lino Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gil Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Kempel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Kempel took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Seco. Gil Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 30 minutes, Christoffer Kempel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ and the AF CERRADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Kempel to maneuver through the defense. Gil Seco came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Christoffer Kempel. But to his dismay, Christoffer Kempel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Augusto Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Velloso to make the kick off. If Oséias Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Gil Velloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Camargo. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Velloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 71st minute of the match Cacá Vaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Camargo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Pedro Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Pedro Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Pedro Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesinha Mazza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gil Seco. AF CERRADO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gil Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Massa in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Bernardo Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Araújo scored 3-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Camargo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Augusto Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Araújo in the 93rd minute of play. AF CERRADO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
