The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Eliézer Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernani Custódio lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Fabinho Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Loureiro in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Luís de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabinho Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Ramos in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caio Ramos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Caio Ramos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda did a great save. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Pedro Toledo got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Eliézer Ramos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda. Fabinho Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Glauco Paranaense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabinho Arruda. Fabinho Arruda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Waldir Souza hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Zé Roberto Veloso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Ramos in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Glauco Paranaense notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda. Fabinho Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Souza during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Magno Prado got a free kick in the 47th minute. With a little luck, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda got control of the ball when Glauco Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Waldir Souza made the kick off in the second half. Natanael Pinheiro hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Lauro Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Souza in the 53rd minute of the match. When Magno Prado fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s protests and gave Magno Prado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Ramos in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Eliézer Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Glauco Paranaense succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. In the 77th minute Luís de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Antônio Carlos Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Paranaense in the 89th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Eliézer Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Paranaense in the 95th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Arruda came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Glauco Paranaense. But to his dismay, Glauco Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CE LAJEADENSE RS had played much better football throughout.
