When Délio Souza fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARINUS MZC's protests and gave Délio Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Délio Souza. Délio Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Guimarães in the 43rd minute of play. Perivaldo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Délio Souza made the kick off in the second half.
