In the 14th minute, Eliézer Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Nildo Veloso. Reko-Recko 03™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nildo Veloso came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Eliézer Ramos. But to his dismay, Eliézer Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Pablo Vegetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Gonçalves came free, but Nildo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nildo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Ramos in the 28th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Nildo Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nildo Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Ramos in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Berger to maneuver through the defense. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Lauro Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Travassos in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Eliézer Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Teles hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Lauro Linhares got control of the ball when Walmyr Proença tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 50th minute of the match Reko-Recko 03™ got a corner. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pablo Vegetti ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pablo Vegetti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lauro Linhares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Walmyr Proença made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Nildo Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CE LAJEADENSE RS. Nildo Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Ramos in the 56th minute of play. With 58 minutes on the clock, Cléber de Souza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CE LAJEADENSE RS! Nildo Veloso made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Raimundo Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Váldson Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Raimundo Gonçalves made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nildo Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Passos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Gonçalves got free with Nildo Veloso in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reko-Recko 03™'s Nildo Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. Nildo Veloso made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Raimundo Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target.
