Valdo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Zac Ba Loua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zac Ba Loua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zac Ba Loua in the 31st minute of play. Horácio Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Mendonça in the 36th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Kempel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Mendonça made a kick off. Horácio Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, SORRISO E. C.'s Valdo Catarinense got control of the ball when Sabo D Agostino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Paulo de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo Catarinense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christoffer Kempel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 73 minute of play. Paulo de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zac Ba Loua came free, but Valdo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaldo Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reinaldo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Sabo D Agostino ran back to his position shaking his head. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SORRISO E. C.'s much stronger midfield.
