The tension between the Tarrasque Voador F.C. and the MARINUS MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 15 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Alexandre Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Délio Souza. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Alexandre Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Guimarães in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Toledo came free, but Perivaldo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Vianna's late challenge caught a Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Vianna hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Félix in the 26th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Horácio Félix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Gino Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 36 played minutes, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Horácio Félix shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tarrasque Voador F.C. reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Penha made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Cardoso. Horácio Félix took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Perivaldo Moreira. MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, MARINUS MZC's Donato de Souza got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Mané Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Eduardo Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Loureiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 66th match minute, MARINUS MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Souza to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MARINUS MZC's zone, Mané Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal and Mané Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato de Souza hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Perivaldo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Tiaguinho Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s zone, Valdo Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Trevisan came out of the goal and Valdo Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Valdo Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Trevisan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 83rdth minute of the game Mané Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Mané Penha. But to his dismay, Mané Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Evaristo Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
