Nestor Cordeiro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match, Franklin Baptista got a very nice opportunity to score, but Severino Alcântara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gilvan Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Artur Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Nestor Cordeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilvan Paraíba skillfully saved the ball. In the 17th minute, Arí Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bitelon FC - SAF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fiori Reis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Nestor Cordeiro got a free kick in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Enéas Soeiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Severino Alcântara to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute, Didi Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gilvan Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maicon Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Maicon Gonçalves made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bitelon FC - SAF's Gilvan Paraíba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Fiori Souto took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Severino Alcântara to make any attempt to save it. Fiori Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fiori Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. Severino Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Fiori Souto sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arí Motta was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Franklin Baptista made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilvan Paraíba was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Ezequiel Melo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezequiel Melo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Severino Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Cristian Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gilvan Paraíba acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nestor Cordeiro. Fiori Reis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Bitelon FC - SAF's Franklin Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Many of AF CERRADO's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. AF CERRADO may have spent more time on the ball, but Bitelon FC - SAF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
