Erivaldo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Pires in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Real Brasília FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Miranda to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado França got free with Erivaldo Freire in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
