The crowd rose to their feet as 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olavo Fonseca. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Olavo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. João Vítor Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Márcio Medeiros hit a great ball. Agostinho Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Olavo Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Elias Damasceno notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vascogoianiense FC's Olavo Fonseca. Olavo Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Vítor Guimarães came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Vascogoianiense FC's Anderson Valladares. But to his dismay, Anderson Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Olavo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Vascogoianiense FC's Olavo Fonseca. Olavo Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olavo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 44 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Vascogoianiense FC's Olavo Fonseca. Olavo Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Damasceno made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vascogoianiense FC's zone, Agostinho Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Fonseca came out of the goal and Agostinho Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Sidnei Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Alagoano went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Olavo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Damasceno in the 66th minute of the match. Olavo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Vascogoianiense FC's Anderson Valladares got a free kick in the 68th minute. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Severino da Cunha was substituted for Sidnei Dionísio. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Armandinho Pombal replaced Régis Vides. 73 minutes into the game, Elias Damasceno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Olavo Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Damasceno in the 75th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Olavo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Severino da Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. After 79 minutes, Abel Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 卡納里尼奧 FC and the Vascogoianiense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Abel Vidal got a free kick in the 79th minute. Márcio Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Olavo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino da Cunha in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Válter Martins hit a great ball. Olavo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the 卡納里尼奧 FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
