Arí Motta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 2nd minute. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 12th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, AF CERRADO's Didi Gaúcho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erivaldo Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Artur Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Didi Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Didi Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. Didi Gaúcho hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Arí Motta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Erivaldo Freire skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Claudinei Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Ezequiel Melo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erivaldo Freire. The goal made the score 4-0. Arí Motta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 45th playminute.

The wind increased when Alfredinho Sampaio made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Artur Sergipano hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Nestor Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes, Ismael Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasília FC - DMZ and the AF CERRADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmo de Salles in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Didi Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasília FC - DMZ's zone, Arí Motta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Freire came out of the goal and Arí Motta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Real Brasília FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Ezequiel Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erivaldo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Gaúcho in the 93rd minute of play. Sandro Dionísio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Severino Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Sampaio in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AF CERRADO had played much better football throughout.
