After 3 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Chaves. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zézinho Paraense hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Walmyr Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute Raí Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tostão Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Vavá Recko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson do Vale. Karaboudjan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vavá Recko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Haroldo de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Karaboudjan's Elano Travassos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo de Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Karaboudjan's Raí Rodrigues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Haroldo de Sena. Haroldo de Sena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After 43 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Paraense. Walmyr Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Rodrigues in the 47th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Haroldo de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Tasso made a kick off. Reko-Recko 03™'s Haroldo de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Tasso in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Elano Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaboudjan's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jefferson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Arruda in the 66th minute of play. Walmyr Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Travassos took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo de Sena. Haroldo de Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 73rd minute, Raí Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karaboudjan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Reko-Recko 03™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gal Van in the 79th minute. Reko-Recko 03™'s Gal Van was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jefferson do Vale in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulinho Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jefferson do Vale made a huge save. Haroldo de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Tasso in the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Eugênio Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo de Sena. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugênio Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 91 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Raí Rodrigues came free, but Haroldo de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karaboudjan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
