Zac Ba Loua started the match with the kick off. With his leg João Vítor Guimarães managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zac Ba Loua fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 15 minutes into the game, Zeca Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 卡納里尼奧 FC the free kick. In the 15th minute, Zeca Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Abel Vidal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça didn't even have to move. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabo D Agostino. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Guedes in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Agostinho Guedes sped through Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eliseu Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Albuquerque hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseu Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. If Sabo D Agostino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Negri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Pimenta. João Vítor Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zac Ba Loua in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's zone, Eliseu Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo de Mendonça came out of the goal and Eliseu Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Armandinho Pombal was substituted for Régis Vides. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Severino da Cunha replaced Sidnei Dionísio. Eliseu Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christoffer Kempel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Zac Ba Loua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zac Ba Loua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Vítor Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Kempel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. During the 79th minute of the match Júlio Negri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Júlio Negri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 79th minute, Júlio Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Eliseu Alagoano scored to the left of an out of position Paulo de Mendonça, making the score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Guedes in the 86th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zac Ba Loua's late challenge caught a 卡納里尼奧 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zac Ba Loua helped the player get up and apologised. 卡納里尼奧 FC played a much better game than Rio Verde F.C CIMZ and deserved their victory. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
