Franklin Baptista started the match with the kick off. When Célio Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaboudjan's protests and gave Célio Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Célio Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7th play minutes Franklin Baptista shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jefferson do Vale and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Simões in the 10th minute of play forced Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Gilvan Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Travassos in the 15th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Elano Travassos. Jefferson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Bueno in the 18th minute of the match. Jefferson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilvan Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elano Travassos went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jefferson do Vale made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Fiori Souto sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Luiz Eduardo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado França kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Fiori Souto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Jefferson do Vale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Raí Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Eugênio Tasso made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Quirino in the 53rd minute of play. Jefferson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Souto in the 58th minute of the match. Elano Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gilvan Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Fiori Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bitelon FC - SAF's Enéas Soeiro was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Bueno. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Bitelon FC - SAF's Franklin Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Karaboudjan's Elano Travassos got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Enéas Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Jefferson do Vale. Karaboudjan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Cristian Furlan's late challenge caught a Karaboudjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bitelon FC - SAF could leave the field as winners, despite Karaboudjan having more of the ball for most of the match.
