After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Zé Augusto Tinoco got a free kick in the 13th minute. Eugênio Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marquinhos Diniz made a huge save. Marquinhos Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Amaral in the 15th minute of the match. Eurico de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Felippe Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marquinhos Diniz to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Cercadinho's Sidney Paranaense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marquinhos Diniz. Marquinhos Diniz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Júlio Guerra hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Branco in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico de Lara saved Cercadinho from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Clemente da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Branco in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico de Lara saved Cercadinho from getting behind. Eurico de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico de Lara came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Célio de Sousa. But to his dismay, Célio de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Branco in the 45th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Eurico de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Lara's late challenge caught a Jovens Democratas MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betinho Lara helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Lara. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felippe Amaral was the one to do the kick off. Felippe Amaral hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilian Antunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eurico de Lara. That made the score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. In the 54th minute, Emanuel Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Emanuel Branco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Eurico de Lara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Felippe Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cercadinho's protests and gave Felippe Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Cercadinho made a substitution. Walmyr Zanette replaced Nildo Toledo. After 63 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Amaral. Célio de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Paulinho Fonseca replaced Sérgio Chaves. In the 69th minute, César Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Amaral came free, but Marquinhos Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jovens Democratas MZC's Marquinhos Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Amaral in the 75th minute of play. Cercadinho's Fellipe Barbosa was substituted for Betinho Lara. After a rather tough play, Cercadinho's Eugênio Rodrigues got a free kick in the 80th minute. Leopoldo Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Eurico de Lara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Branco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 91 minute of play.
