An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Ljubenković in the 13th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atahan Balon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 24 minutes into the match, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Asiz Soon came free, but Serafin Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luka Ljubenković to make the kick off. With a little luck, Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon got control of the ball when César Bustamante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serafin Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Ljubenković in the 81st minute of play. With his leg Atahan Balon managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s César Bustamante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Asiz Soon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Cesaro was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Los Muchachos del 86's much stronger midfield.
