Pepe Argento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. René Stam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Dantae, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Las Palmas's René Stam got control of the ball when Fernando Dantae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulin Pego in the 18th minute of play. Las Palmas's René Stam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Dantae in the 26th minute of play. René Stam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Dantae in the 30th minute. With an all-out effort, Stat Veritas FC's René Stam threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Dantae, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 34 minutes of play, Las Palmas's 秦西星 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Erramun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute Cayetano Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Fernando Dantae took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for René Stam to make any attempt to save it. If 秦西星 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 秦西星 to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Erramun came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Las Palmas's 秦西星. But to his dismay, 秦西星 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 57 minutes into the game, one of Las Palmas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Las Palmas:s René Stam showed great skill when he stopped Johan Gelin:s penalty. Apolo Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. René Stam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ziemowit Dembowski in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Stam saved Las Palmas from getting behind. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Hestvik in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Las Palmas's zone, Ziemowit Dembowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Stam came out of the goal and Ziemowit Dembowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. René Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Modestio in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Las Palmas defense, Apolo Modestio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Stam. The Las Palmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Stam should have stopped the shot. When Glauco Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stat Veritas FC's protests and gave Glauco Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Glauco Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ziemowit Dembowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Stam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ziemowit Dembowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Las Palmas's René Stam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Dembowski in the 82nd minute of play. When Justo Montrel fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stat Veritas FC's protests and gave Justo Montrel a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Dembowski came free, but René Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Las Palmas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stat Veritas FC.
