After a defensive mix-up in Huckebein's zone, Fermin Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Santxol came out of the goal and Fermin Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Sotil made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dionisio Panpili. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Fredriksson got free with Apolo Santxol in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apolo Santxol made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Fermin Arixo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Huckebein's Apolo Santxol got control of the ball when Fermin Arixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apolo Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Arixo in the 23rd minute. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Jumancă in the 65th minute of play. Apolo Santxol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Marlin FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
