The corner went over the outstretched arms of Huckebein's goalie and right to Armando Roland. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Huckebein's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Apolo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 19th minute of play. Marin Jumancă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Salvidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Huckebein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriele Batistuta in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Santxol saved Huckebein from getting behind. When Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huckebein's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Huckebein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Apolo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 53rd minute of the match. Apolo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 60th minute of play. Marin Jumancă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huckebein's goalkeeper Apolo Santxol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes in the game, Gabriele Batistuta dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 67th minute, Gabriele Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Santxol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Huckebein's Wolfgang Dalkvist was substituted for Marin Jumancă. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Dalkvist in the 75th minute of play. Apolo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 78th minute of play. Uriel Gorri came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Apolo Santxol could save by the left post. In the 88th match minute, Huckebein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Perez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Alvaro Perez got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apolo Santxol, 1-5. When Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huckebein's goalie prevented a goal. The Huckebein fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Menchu FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
