When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriele Batistuta made a kick off. Hernan Lano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Camilo Salvidor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th minute Zézinho Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Wennerqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Firmo in the 87th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
